Name the link
Use a custom alias when your plan allows it, or let VTX generate one. Connected custom domains are available according to your account.
Short links / A clearer way there

Make the route
easy to understand.
A short URL is what you share.
The destination is where it goes.
Set the destination
Send visitors to a complete page URL. You can edit that destination later while retaining the short URL you have already shared.
Understand the visit
Use link statistics and, where available, UTM parameters to organize your campaign. A recorded visit is not the same thing as a sale.
A practical example
One campaign.
Clearer context.
A new collection. A newsletter. One clear way to find it.
A link in a newsletter can use the source newsletter, medium email and campaign new_collection. VTX can append these parameters to the destination.
Use consistent names, check the preview and open the saved link before sharing. Your destination analytics needs to support campaign parameters to make use of them there.

Good to know
Keep the link.
Change the next step.
Can I edit a link after sharing it?
Open the link settings, update Destination URL and select Update. Keep the Short URL alias and its domain unchanged if you want the shared address to keep working.
Can I connect it to a QR code?
Yes. A dynamic URL QR can use an existing link. Its scans then follow that link to the destination. See the QR guide.
What do the numbers tell me?
Statistics show activity recorded for the link, subject to your account settings and retention limits. Visits can include repeated activity; do not treat them as confirmed customers, purchases or campaign return.
Can a link stop redirecting?
Yes. Disabling or deleting it, changing its alias or domain, or applying expiration and access settings can affect the result. An unavailable destination can also prevent the visitor from reaching the intended page.
